MENA makes your bathroom accessible
with select hinged folding door models
The hinged folding doors with a maximum height of 2050 mm are available up to a maximum width of 1550 mm and therefore meet all the requirements of DIN standard 18040-2 for barrier-free bathroom design. As one of the main criteria is a room layout that allows sufficient freedom of movement and offers space for a walker, wheelchair, and a caregiver. A person with a walker, for example, needs space to maneuver of 1200 mm x 1200 mm, while a wheelchair user needs 1500 mm x 1500 mm. And this can be achieved easily with the new MENA hinged folding solution.

Cleaning
Correct cleaning is important.
To keep your shower enclosure shining for a long time, regular cleaning after use is recommended. After showering, you should first rinse the inner surfaces clean with warm water, then with cold water, and afterwards dry them. Profiles and glass panels may only be cleaned with mild, commercially available cleaning and care agents, e.g., with diluted vinegar water (mixing ratio 1:1). Abrasive cleaners, alcohol or nitro thinner, etc. must not be used under any circumstances.

We recommend that you lubricate the guide rails, castors, and hinges once a year, e.g. with Vaseline or silicone spray, and re-tighten the screws of the castors, metal hinges, and rising hinge mechanism in order to ensure smooth functioning for many years.
CLEAN easy-clean coating
The “Teflon effect” for your shower enclosure.
The Kermi easy-clean coating KermiCLEAN for real glass is the perfect option if you want to spend less time cleaning. The special surface coating prevents stubborn build-up of dried water drops, soap residue, and traces of dirt and limescale. This also prevents germs and bacteria which in turn improves hygiene.
For cleaning we recommend soft, non-abrasive cloths and commercially available, non abrasive cleaning agents.

The classy hinged shower enclosure MENA is available completely minimalist and made to measure, with a wall hinge up to a height of 2200 mm. In this completely frameless design, the high-quality metal hinges are shown to their best effect. All doors are convenient inward and outward-opening two-part hinged doors with rising hinge mechanism.
MENA with wall profile
For those who want a little more frame, MENA is also available as a partly framed version with wall profile in all popular series models, with a standard height of 2000 mm. The characteristic metal hinge not only looks incredibly stylish, but also provides a reliable rising hinge and two-part hinged function.
